Spring Training

— March 2011

The weather in Florida has improved dramatically since January. MLB baseball teams are starting to arrive in the sunshine state for their annual rite of spring. These things should get golfers who have endured a difficult winter in most of the country thinking about their upcoming golf season. Now is the time to plan your summer of golfing improvement. If you have been doing your indoor practice swings and putting on the rug all winter it's time to go to the next level. If you have the opportunity    to come to Florida you can take some lessons to reacquaint  yourself with the fundamentals of your swing. This will get you off to a fast start when you return home to start your season. The George Hunt golf Academy offers a variety of ways to improve your game from one hour lessons to to three day sessions. The lessons are given at Rio Pinar golf club in Orlando Florida the former site of the Florida Citrus Open, the PGA tour stop before it moved to Bay Hill. Some of the players to have competed there are Sam Snead, Lee Trevino and Arnold Palmer.  The course offers a great place to improve your game from a 100 yard wide driving range to a 30 yard long short game area and putting green. All lessons are videotaped using the Casio camera that takes video at 300 frames per second it's a great tool to see what is happening with your swing. You can email me at george@moradgolfgeorgehunt.com for further information and to book your lessons. I look forward to helping make your 2011 season a success.
